ASSOCIATE COUNSEL
Individual is responsible for preparation and review of public construction and consultant contracts; analyzes and reviews disputes and claims with contractors and consultants; provides legal advice to Fund staff on a wide variety of State government issues including procurement and legislation; assists Attorney General’s office in litigation involving Fund matters.
Candidates must be admitted to the New York Bar and have at least 5 years of experience preferably in public or private construction law and/or relevant experience in State government. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and superior abilities in analysis, writing and advocacy.
