ASSOCIATE ACCOUNTANT
Responsible for a variety of general accounting, financial, administrative duties for both operational and capital activity, maintenance of financial and managerial accounting related records and assists in the preparation of financial statements and statutory reports.
Specific duties include the reconciliation of cash and investment accounts, reconciliation of the Fund’s internal Financial Management System, preparation of detailed and summary accounting, financial and statutory reports, quality control review of processed documents and evaluation of related internal controls, and the review of financial qualifications for low-bidders on construction contracts.
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 5 years of relevant experience is required. CPA license is preferred but not required. Additional requirements include: knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
