ASSOCIATE PROJECT COORDINATOR

 (Construction)

Individual will administer construction projects on the SUNY campuses while under the direct supervision of a Regional Director.  Duties include managing the consultant and contractor to ensure timely completion of a project constructed in accordance with the contract documents.  Travel within NYS required.

 

An Associate’s (with a NYS professional license) or a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or related construction field plus 10 years experience in the building design and construction industry.  A professional license may be substituted for up to 5 years experience with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.    Working knowledge of applicable codes, laws, rules and standards regulating design and construction.  Effective written and verbal skills and ability to work with minimum supervision required.
