DIRECTOR – JOB ORDER CONTRACTING
Individual will administer and supervise the operations of the Job Order Contracting (JOC) program. The JOC program is an expedited construction delivery method for small projects and completion work on larger projects. The Director will be responsible for managing the contractors that are employed to perform work under a JOC contract. Responsible for review and approval of project initiations and job orders. Accountable for tracking start/completion dates of job orders and managing the process. Albany based position, travel within NYS required.
A Bachelor’s or an Associate’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field and/or 15 years experience in construction project management with firm knowledge of construction estimating including Construction, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing. Supervisory experience required.
