SUCF Office of Construction Management
The Office of Construction Management - provides construction oversight of capital projects throughout SUNY’s 34 State-operated campuses. The Construction Unit is responsible for the project’s construction phase from contract award through project completion. These services include management of project teams composed of consultants and contractors. SUCF’s Management of Construction Projects manual provides guidelines during the bidding and construction phases.
Our staff includes construction professionals with varied backgrounds, expertise and years of experience. The projects vary from basic critical maintenance renovation projects to complex multi-discipline multi-phase projects. Additionally, we provide Job Order Contracting services (JOCs) on an as needed basis in meeting construction needs. Our goal is to expedite effective and efficient management of these construction projects.
Construction bidding opportunities are advertised in the New York State Contract Reporter and SUCF's construction bid calendar which is distributed to traditional contracting advertising sources and major contractor organizations.
