Prevailing Wage Rate Schedules

Construction Contractors - Advisory

In accordance with the Fund’s contract documents and New York State Law, contractors and subcontractors are responsible for paying the prevailing wage rates as issued by the Department of Labor’s Bureau of Public Works annually.

Effective 07/01/2001, the State University Construction Fund will no longer issue Updated Prevailing Wage Rate Schedules directly to its contractors for "active" construction projects. The New York State Department of Labor now provides the updates on their Internet website.

The website is http://www.labor.state.ny.us/business_ny/employer_responsibilities/prevwage/3webwagetypestatus.htm, or call the Department of Labor at (518)457-5589. If you require additional information, call the SUCF construction coordinator assigned to your project.

Design Consultants - Advisory

Design consultants preparing bid documents for SUCF projects must use the New York State Department of Labors "Request for Wage and Supplement Information (PW-39)" form available at http://www.labor.state.ny.us/business_ny/employer_responsibilities/prevwage/3webwagetypestatus.htm in order to request a Prevailing Rate Case number and rates customized to their project. If you require additional information, call the SUCF design coordinator assigned to your project.

We appreciate your compliance and cooperation with these announcements.
