Renovation of Library/Academic Space
SUCF is seeking Statements of Qualifications from consultants to provide design services to provide programming, design and construction administration services for the Renovation of the Library at Old Westbury. The comprehensive program study will identify the program and associated space requirements for a state-of-the-art library. The program study will clearly define the project goals, needs, schedule, and budget for the proposed renovation. The project design will follow the study and should explore financially feasible, technologically sound strategies to conserve energy, water and other resources. Services include designing for a USGBC LEED Silver rating and other services recommended to provide a complete design. Submissions should emphasize the design team's significant past experience with the renovation of libraries and managing design services for such projects in an expeditious manner..
